Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, selected roles, profile details, drop and reservation activity, verification submissions, and communications with GroupMeat. When you use Google sign-in, we receive only the basic account information you authorize, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, operate group purchases, display approved supplier and processor profiles, support reservations, maintain payment-status records, prevent abuse, review credentials, provide support, and improve GroupMeat. We do not use Google account information to access Gmail, contacts, Drive, or other Google services.
Payments
GroupMeat does not receive or hold meat payments in Version 1. Buyers pay the identified provider directly. We may store approved payment instructions and the payment status reported by buyers and providers, but users should not submit card numbers, bank-account passwords, or online-banking credentials.
Sharing
We share public profile and drop information as necessary to operate the marketplace. We use service providers such as Supabase for authentication and database services and Vercel for application hosting. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or during a business transaction subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary for operations, fraud prevention, disputes, safety, legal obligations, and audit history. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible account information. Some transaction, safety, verification, or audit records may be retained where legally or operationally required.
Children
GroupMeat is not intended for children under 18.
