Organizers bring buyers together around a real product, price, location, and pickup plan.
Families and friends already combine orders for whole animals, freezer bundles, and bulk meat. GroupMeat gives that informal process a clear home: one public group page, transparent progress, defined roles, and direct payment to the provider.
Organizers bring buyers together around a real product, price, location, and pickup plan.
GroupMeat does not receive or hold payment for meat. Buyers pay the assigned provider using instructions revealed after reservation.
Farm suppliers and processors are identified differently. Inspection claims are reviewed before an approval badge appears.
GroupMeat coordinates information and status; it does not replace food-safety rules, processor licensing, or the buyer’s own due diligence.
A provider submits its business identity, provider type, inspection basis, establishment or license information where applicable, and issuing jurisdiction. GroupMeat reviews those details and assigns a public status that describes what was actually supported.
An approved farm supplier is not presented as an inspected processor. Custom-exempt processing is labeled with restrictions. A pending or rejected provider is not available in the approved processor search.
